Roberta S. Kuriloff

Roberta is admitted to practice in both Maine and Connecticut. She received her B.A. from Hunter College of New York in 1973, and her J.D. from Boston College Law School in 1976.

She is a member of the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Maine Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Roberta completed the Esperti-Peterson Institute's program on Advanced Studies for Estate and Wealth Planning.

She is also a Fellow of the Legacy Builders Institute, a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to the goals of leaving a meaningful legacy. The Institute supports professionals in becoming a community resource for helping families and communities preserve their heritage and perpetuate their legacy.

Roberta teaches organizations and groups about various estate planning issues. She has presented numerous seminars for the public and professional advisors on Medicaid and nursing home concerns, basic and advanced estate planning, including seminars on charitable giving, retirement planning and business succession planning.

She has been a Hospice patient-volunteer and Past-President of Hospice of Hancock County. She also is a workshop trainer in the Hospice volunteer training program. Roberta was a founder of The Next Step Domestic Violence Project and a past Board President, as well as past President of Faith in Action Community Connection, an organization that offers free services to elderly and disabled residents in Hancock County, Maine, so that they may live independently, with dignity, and a strong quality of life.
